February 24 and 25 that is. Once again, the event will be held at the SRA San Miguel park. All are welcome (including pets). Park website:

Sabine River Authority • State of Louisiana • Toledo Bend Fishing & Camping Information

On the website menu, click on parks, then San Miguel for information. The enclosed pavilion/lodge has been reserved for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday as we have done previous. And, I must say, works nicely for us, a very nice facility. There are nine of us who have already booked our cabins for this event. Ann and I are in cabin 15 once again.

We'll have our potluck again on Friday evening, then our fry on Saturday evening as before. It's always fun to taste everyone's dishes. Thursday open - it was cool though when we had my chili and Danny's vegetable soup that evening last time. Whatever you folks want to do. I'll post a food/supply list after the holidays/first of the year (and, hopefully Bruce will keep updated as before).

We will also, once again, have a raffle on Saturday evening for a very good local cause - Sabine Council on Aging. This has been very much appreciated by these folks, and have put the funds to a very good use. Danny and I will not solicit for door prizes, nor for the raffle items, although sponsors are more than welcome to donate and will be appreciated. Danny will post a separate thread on our raffle I'm sure as he has done previously. I'll post more after he starts his post.

Come join us for fine food, fellowship, and fun!
