Went solo Thursday....kept 5 bass & 4 sacs (all on shiners)...water was very slick early...

went back Sunday with grandson Nicholas (he is coming to TB with me).....he fished for bass all day....I started with shiners for sacs.....I just missed my first bite around 9 AM....as I was getting a new shiner, he caught a small bass and it had a shiner in his mouth...my shiner, my fish......but a throwback....Nicholas really felt bad about that......our next stop was one of my honey holes....stopped way out and eased up slowly....then, it was on...me with a crankbait, him with a soft plastic creature bait.....seems like every cast we had a bass on (well almost)....it was "fast & furious" for about 30 minutes then the school moved on....we kept 12 and threw back around 10...then I caught one small sac on the crankbait....I heard the next day that Henderson was dead for most folks on that Sunday....I can't complain though....some of those bass were really nice.....
