Millers lake 2/14/17

Actually started at crooked creek. After 2 hours and not q fish, I picked up and headed to Millers lake. Not far. Wind was brutal. Caught 3 crappie and 1 small bass. Saw numerous bass boiling the water here and there. I heard some thunder and got.out just in time.

Seems like you fish as many days a week as I do this strong south wind has been a pain. Headed to Open Bayou Launch to fish Big Saline Bayou in the morning, herd a report of 2 lb ers being caught and you could have walked across the boats to get where you wanted to go over the week end LOL be safe I'll run into you again. That wind was so bad, I had to keep the speed control on 5 to maneuver my boat like I wanted. I haven't been to Open Bayou in about 5 years. Will try to make a trip up there shortly.

Love the colors of those fish and also that water! Thanks for sharing. I have only fished Millers once but it is a beautiful place.
