I was able to make a day of it this past Saterday in the lower atchafalaya basin. To no surprise I was unable to locate a single crappie on either my lowrance or the end of my line. Decided to fish awhile longer and maybe locate another species that is not particularly my favorite but none the less a good time when biting. Took home 15 bass with a 2.15 lb average and 4 just over 3 lbs. Just another blessed day on the water!

RETIRED LOUISIANA CRAPPIE HUNTER
Man oh man, what a catch. Congratulations! That will be several bags of filets.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
They're not my favorite either, but I'd sure take 'em in a pinch. Glad you turned around your luck and came home loaded!
If you got caught with them sacred green carp where I live you would be tarred and feathered!!
You deserve an Ataboy and I bet there was a time when Mr. Kevin Vandam would love to have those.
Very nice
