The Spring like weather is just too much to keep us out of the boat. After deciding not to go today, Linda changed her mind at 9 AM. The wind was just starting to come up but with nothing better to do, off we went. Hit one favorite hole and got 2 sac and a few bass. Headed for another spot which only yielded 1 bass. Then I talked to Armand. He told me his uncle was out there. He told me where he had caught some the day before so we motored in that direction. We found his uncle and they had been on the fish earlier and pointed us in that direction as they were leaving. We gave it a try but I think the bite was over. Looks like the bite has been early and it's hard to get Linda going early. After catching nothing in 30 minutes we headed in fighting the wind. A beautiful day on the water even if the wind did blow. We found water of 71 degrees and also found fish that wouldn't bite. The critters were out and the bullfrogs were calling. Spring is here or a false Spring is here.
