Yesterday Gene and I made a short and sweet trip to the Grove. We left late (8:30) and fished to 1:00 PM. The water is still very high and muddy but we found some fishable water deeper in the marsh. We were blessed with 3 beautiful sacalait and 6 bass. I caught the largest bass and maybe the largest sacalait but Gene did catch 2 sacalait and more bass than I.
