Saline Complex 12/22

Well vacation started back up Wednesday afternoon.....hit the lake on Thursday in hopes of catching some sac-a-lait.....this trip wasnt the best but i ended up with 10....these were smaller than my last trip on the 3rd so i kept them as whole fish....

Weather was warm, foggy, breeze picking up around noon....stayed there till 3....with the recent rains we got after Thanksgiving the water is up above pool stage which i'd say maybe about 2'....water a little stained.....first stop was around Shad Lake where I caught last trip....that didnt produce, headed to Long Branch, stayed there and picked up several....fog lifted around noon and headed back to the beginning where i did pick up a few more and ended the day there.... the main color jig was pink/white.....again, had to find them on the graph and force feed them....

I plan on making a few more trips next week and will report my finding....

Congratulations on a fine mess of fish for the frying oil.

Deacon and myself made a trial run there yesterday. I think we caught 20 or so fish but most of them were small. I believe we kept 4 or 5 for Deacon to eat for supper and threw the rest back. Best color was blue/chrt in 16 fow fishing on the bottom.
