As Gene said it was a great day to be on the water. What made it greater was that I had 5 fish in the boat before he had his first. He finally managed to hook 2 sacalait and 4 bass to my 3 sacalait and 5 bass. Plus I caught 2 keeper catfish that we released. I also caught one for JR, you guessed it, a Goo. Boy did he give me a good fight. Even though Gene threaten to cut my line a couple of times and threaten to put me in time out for out fishing him, he's was a good sport about it and I thanked him sweetly for putting me on some fish. We used shiners, and tube jigs, and Gene had a little luck on the bass with a Roadrunner. There were quite a few boats out for a Wednesday. We met Bobfish who was catching a few himself.
