Lots of people fish flounder in the fall south of Morgan city. They fish the sandbars, bottom fishing like fishing catfish. I got to thinking, it seems like spider rigging on these sandbars would be deadly on the flatfish! Definitely will be trying that come August/September. Maybe someone on here has tried it?

I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.
We got down to Dularge a few time a year to chase speckled trout. When we have trouble getting on them we will tie off and tight line shrimp or crab for what ever happens to swim by. On slow days it would be a big help to have a few more rods in the water. Would just have to keep a close eye in them.
Axloltl now you getting in my neck of the woods (Dularge). I used to live there and still have a house down there. I mostly fish for sacalait but now and then chase specks at this time of year.
