Any tips for Cypress for thurs 11/17
Gonna head out to Cypress in the morning. We went a few weeks back and picked up a dozen or so drifting with minnows out front of the Parks rd. launch. Just wondering if anyone's been lately and if they tried any jigs. Thanks

Picked up a few on plain jigs two weeks ago. Black/pink, black/chartreuse, blue/white. Caught some on red/chartreuse tipped with shiners. Didn't put a dent in the numbers from pulling cranks. I was going to go today but the wind forecast helped me decide against it.
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, unless you fish for a living.

We got a late start today, 8:00. We kept eight nice ones, threw back four or five little ones. I fished three rods with shiners and one with different jigs with no bites. It started white capping at 11:30 so we called it a day. They're still scattered.
