Good job John....a lot of those trailers were hunters....I will be out there Thursday....looks like the wind will be 18 MPH on Saturday and the low temp getting down to 38....I can deal with the 38 but not the 18 MPH....

Caught 6 nice ones with a perfect day to be on the water. Picked up one here and one there. Didn't see many people, but there were quite a few trailers at the landing when I finished. They all must have been where the fish were. Sold on Basin Landing now after getting holed at McGee's last time. All caught tight line fairly deep in average 8' of water.

Any catch is a good catch there Mermentau especially when they are nice ones.Good to see you found Basin Landing.Best place to launch as of now.Have you been to the Mermentau River lately and if so found any fish.Haven't made it back there yet due to could't pass on Henderson last few trips out.![]()
