I'm bringing my grandson on my fall week of crappie wandering! Heard good things about Poverty Point and thought I'd try it this year. Any thoughts from any fishers of specs in N La?

Some of our biggest users of PP and catchers of big fish come from the Southern part of the state it seems. At least they are the ones posting reports and pictures. Good luck on your trip and I'm glad to hear you're bring your grandson.

I haven't been but once this fall and haven't heard ANY reports. That being said your best bet will be on south east side of lake in the old Macon channel. Last year bobby garland blue ice and monkey milk were some good choices but who knows now.
