Day started very slow....my favorite spot didn't produce real early so I moved to spot 2...picked up one 13" sac there.....lots of gaters there....ran across Jason (Swampers) and Chuck(CajunSlabStalker) .....thanks guys for stopping by and chatting.....great to see you again.....moved on to North Bigeaux....picked up about 8 small sacs.....kept 4 of them.....figured I better have something to go with that other big fish....went back to my first spot and started fishing with my real big shiners...those things really bounce the cork around like crazy,... then....bang...its gone....in 20 minutes I picked up 4 more hogs 13"-14"....lost 3 more at the boat...with the big shiners gone I tried the smaller shiners and they just didn't want them.....so, at 2:30 I quit for the day....kept 9 sacs...one bass...Didi gets to eat fish for another week.....
