Need some info on Yucatan

After it was suggested I found out how to get there, but know nothing about the lake. Someone want to give me the heads up on what I should be looking for, and how to plan to fish it this coming weekend? I don't drag anything...

If you head right from the landing you'll pass by another old landing on the right after a mile or so. Past that landing there are a number of camps that have docks, treetops, etc. out from them. That's where a lot of people fish. Depending on the water level, a lot of the docks extend underwater and you can fish around them. Also, just ask the people who own the landing where the fish are biting. They are very helpful.

Go left at landing to the point in middle of lake. There are some stickups on outside of point. River needs to be around 17 ft at Vicksburg for a good bite. You never know about Yucatan. If you catch it right there's not a better place. Good luck
