Bayou black

Just wanted to know if the rumors I'm hearing are true are the fish starting to turn on in bayou black area if so what areas and what bait any information would be greatly appreciated

Ive heard they were catching em everywhere! But mostly in THE WATER and IN THE MOUTH!
No where near that area but I cldnt resist b/c that's how my fishing life has been raised........

Armand, sorry I can't help you either or not much. Since I last talked to you I got word from my brother in law that they were catching a nice mix of sacs, brim, and catfish around the turtle bayou area. He said no where in particular they just fished where they found clean or mixing water. He also said that just about any tube jig was getting bit no matter what the color. The water is or has been falling pretty fast and a lot of lilies are in the canals and the falling water is bringing a lot of dirty water into the canals.
