Got off of work at 2 today so I decided to make an afternoon trip knowing I was gambling with the rain. Launched at 2:45 and fished until the rain came around 6 ish. Caught about 15 sacs ....kept 10 and a Goggleye . Had a few very solid ones mixed in there. Even had a whitey mixed in there too Too bad the rain came and crashed the party. Good luck fellas !

Good catch SS19. While fishing with Bruce a couple of days ago we had quite a few whites mixed in with the blacks. Those blacks sure do carry a lot more meat on their bones.

Thanks for the comments fellas.... And I completely agree with you PPG on the SLABBAGE yield of the black crappie vs. the white crappie. Also funny that you refered to me as SS19.... I was thinking about putting SS19 decals on my boat when I redo the stripes on the side..... You may have sold me on the idea !

The locks might stay open and go with the river. No one is sure what the plans are yet. If they drain it till the flats are dry it's about another 2 foot from where it's at now
