    Default Directions to Hollands Bluff


    I live in Claiborne Parish and need directions to Hollands Bluff launch. I understand its pretty good for summer time crappie. Any places to look for in particular? thanks in advance guys.

    I googled Hollands Bluff and found a map on the link above. If link doesn't try the search on your computer.
    Good luck!

    Looks like highway 2 east to 143 south then turn right on Hollands Bluff Rd and follow to landing. Google Map shows it real well in the sattelite photo.

    Turn off of 143 right at the refuge office (west) and you can't miss it

    About 3 weeks ago they were biting, but I went yesterday and only caught one in two hours. Average size has increased since last year...more in the 11 to 11.5 inch range.

    From Holland if you fish toward the lake it's mostly fishing tops in the bayou, going toward the river there's more sloughs going off the bayou and stumps covered flats to fish

    I think Hollands bluff is south of Point. When Bro and I fished The D'Arbonne River in that area, the Places we caught fish was on the banks where Cypress Knees lined the bank thickly. We caught a few in tops but the Knees Ruled for producing good fish
