Thread: Toledo Bend

Finally got to uncover the boat and get in about 3 hours of fishing the Bend. Great time had fishing with my eldest son. We only caught 10 but the time was time well spent with my son. Fished out of Wrights Landing in about 18' water fishing just above planted structure at 11-12'. Used several different colored Black Lake jigs. Orange/Chart...Gray.....Gray/Chart......Black/Chart..............Chart...............

First time back fishing in several weeks....Does anybody have any info on Kempler Lake just north of Castor, La. I'm thinking of making recon trip and try it out??
