I still had a chinese tire on the right side and my spare as well. Marathons coming before next trip. As the tire blew up, my truck jerked, so I looked out the right mirror, and sheets of rubber were flying everywhere. It was a site to be seen, let me tell you. Wound up bending my rim. It took out 2 side marker lights and rolled my fender where it rubbed the tire. Had to go on the old Breaux Bridge highway. It blew out at the perfect time. Right before I got on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge. A lot better before than on the bridge.
Still caught some fish. Wound up with 15 sacs, 20 total. Sorry, no pics. Fished South Bigeaux, caught on both sides. All fish caught on a Strike King Shad Pole in the smokey shad color tipped with berkley gulp waxies. They were grabbing on a lot of time by just the waxie and stealing it. I might have to try some gulp jigs. I gave up on nibblets a while back. The gulp waxies or maggots stay on so much better, work just as good or better in my opinion, and I change it after 10 minutes if I haven't lost it.
