River is falling!

Miss river is on a good fall....Lord willing, I'll be at Old River early Monday morning, chasing them paper mouths ...ain't going Sat., too crowded....Y'all Cmon, I'll be in a camo Ranger alum./40 Evinrude Etec.....

I'll be out there sometime Sunday or Monday. Just bought another boat after being without for a couple years so I'm going to have to remember how to fish. I grew up fishing out there so hopefully one of the normal spots will put a few fish in the boat. Taking my wife and 2 boys so I'll be looking for whatever is biting. I'll be in a 17' Sundance bay boat with 90 Johnson. If I end up going Sunday I'll give you a report.

Yeah I fished a lot before my first boy was born but naturally had to take a little break. Trying to get back into it and get him to catch at least a few bream. Water should be right this weekend but it's hit or miss when the river is high like this. I like it when it's all the way down but have caught a lot at this stage. Better than being at work

Looks like it won't rise down here til mid-late next week and hopefully stay 30 ft or less. We're planning to bring the camper back up next weekend.
