Went out to test the waters out at the dogwood pond. Have heard that it doesn't produce hardly anything. Went out for an hour and caught three cats around 5-10 pounds. could've caught more but I was called to come home.
Had little helpers that insisted on pictures.

"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
Now those are precious; the kids not the cats. What beautiful smiles. But, the cats look pretty good too. Congratulations on a good mess of fish!
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.

If you are referring to the Dogwood subdivision pond in Haughton, I grew up bass and bream fishing that pond. It's called Shadow Lake and before the levee broke a few years ago, it had some huge fish in it. My brother and I would ride our bikes to it and fish the banks and when we got old enough to drive we would fish it with a jon boat and trolling motor.
Man I love that place and my brother and I still talk about some of our fishing adventures there.
