Default Very small Arkie crank bait in I found in my shop

Found this in my shop digging around looking for something:

I haven't a clue where I got it. I think someone gave it to me, not sure. It's small at 1 3/4", the color is CM-2 Blackshiner. I thought this bait very interesting and haven't seen anyone post about them.

Nice....bet it will catch also.....I was fishing a crank bait early Saturday morning for bass....something hit it and when I got it to the boat it turned out to be a sac.....got off just as I was about to lift it in.....

Here it is.....CM must mean crank bait-minnow....

I've been successful tight lining small Arkie cranks off the front of the boat. Have caught sacs when they weren't hitting jigs. Rigged just like a tight lined jig at different depths until I found the pattern.

Not joking. They sell a few Arkie small crank baits and rattle trap type baits at a lot of Walmarts.

Yep click here Arkie Diving Minnow Crankbaits

We use the 220' and 350 series mainly to pull or push for crappie. The one you have is probably best suited for casting with a ultra light spinning rod and slow retrieve.

"D" is right. Wal-Mart in Plaquemine has them for sure. I've got that one and the gold/blk version as well. Caught fish on both but I'm not a big crank bait fisherman even though my box has its own drawer full of them! You know what they say about baits catching fishermen..... Guilty!
