I've been putting together some links for the Mermentau Basin stages and I came across
USGS 294717092250000 CRMS0568-H01-RT.

Why couldn't they give it a name that folks could relate too.
I had to dig a lot to find out where that was and it's in the marsh on the North East side of White Lake (the lake). I hate the way they named the White Lake reserve the same as the name of the lake. To places with the same name.

Anyway it's on the White Lake preserve property just east of Clear Lake which is really a little bay off of White Lake.

There is a lot of information there and I think it will be a help for anyone fishing the lower Mermentau basin.
