Henderson....4/20.....What Do You Do.....

When you can only get a bass to bite.....I mean, fishing with shiners for sacs but these small bass would beat the sacs to the bait....what you do is bring them home to mama.....she loves them this size.....I must have caught around 30 fish....threw back the stripers (5).....caught some fish on a khaki crank bait.....something almost jerked my bass rod out of my hand but he didn't stay on.....loss one side of the treble hook......after I got my 10 limit I started culling.....fished 3 to 8 feet deep.....I could have sat in this one spot and caught all day but the rain ran me home.....need to do that again soon.....

Excellent post Bruce! I love them that size too and the marsh I fish a lot that seems to be the only size they have in there with an occasional bigger one! Thanks for the report and picture, beats what I was doing today.....work! lol

Not bragging....just a happy camper to get away from yard work.....and catch a few.....Pelba looked black...Bigeaux looked good.....didn't go west or south.....water is falling fast....down almost 3 ft from the high.....this rain may hold up the fall for a day or so....
