:welcome aboard......so sorry about your getting water in your camp......I realize that's a lot of hard work for the cleanup.....happy you decided to join us.....as you already know, we have a lot of really nice folks here that are always willing to help out.....we also have 2 great gatherings each year...one at Lake D'Arbonne and one at Toledo Bend....it is an opportunity to place a face with the names you meet here.....hope you can make some of these....
Again, welcome and looking forward to reading your posts...
Now, that is some hogs.....
Welcome to the board! Sorry about your camp, I know that is a mess. Mom and dads house caught it for 2 hurricanes so I know what you are in for! Glad to have you with us.
welcome to CDC from the Banks Of D'Arbonne --- Yall tell him about the Gatherings , Good Eats and Fun things
Mike, welcome to the board. I fish Black Lake every opportunity I get. Here lately I have been fishing Caney because of the high water and out of respect for everyone's property. I wouldn't want to throw a wake into someone's property where they have already seen huge amounts of damage. I am glad to hear that the water is finally going down and you are able to get into your camp. I can't even imagine what you are facing. I fish out of an 18 foot black and silver Crestliner with a 90HP Mercury hung on her. Most of my fishing is down around the Hwy 9 bridge because I haven't figured out that narrow and curvy channel from the bridge to the stretch and I don't want to crash the boat. LOL. If you ever see me holler at me. I have Pastor on the boat in a couple of places, along with Louisiana Crappie.com stickers, and a couple of green crappie cutouts on the cowling of my motor. Plus, I have a 6 rod, rod transport rack on the passenger's side of the boat. If you don't mind, please let me know when the launch at Chandlers camp is open. Thanks in advance and I look forward to getting to meet you and your wife.

Welcome to the board and sorry to hear that the water got that high and into the camps and such up there.. Hopefully y'all will get everything back to normal soon and get back on the water.
Thank all of yall so much for welcoming me, I really look forward to seeing yall on the lakes and maybe at one or both of the gatherings. I actually fish Toledo Bend
a lot right around from Cypress Bend at Turtle Beach. My buddy has a camp there and we've been deep jigging for specks on the same brush piles since high school (I'm 43 now lol). Pastor, my wife and I actually fished 10 yards from you and your wife on the Stretch (Black Lake) and we saw your stickers and rod holders and that's what got me to start looking up reading C.C La. posts so much!! I always enjoy reading your post and your encouraging comments on others. I will keep you up to date on the boat launch situation and I'll post my fishing reports to you all as soon as we can get back on the water. Thanks again to all of yall for such a warm reception.
Mike
