We were tired of being couped up because of all the rain and the promise of more ahead, so we headed out. Fish for about an hour before Linda finally brought the first fish into the boat, a nice slab. Finally when we were about to give up on that area I hooked up with a nice bass. We left that area and hit some other canal but the effort was useless, the fish just didn't want to bite yesterday, not even the bream. Even without a good fish bite it was still a great day on the water. Already looking forward to the next. Now if we could only make the rain go elsewhere, I think we need a break but will leave it up to divine wisdom.

Anytime I get enough for a meal for me and my wife it's a good trip. She never would go with me though.
