Made afternoon trip to bayou Amy fished for 4 hours. All fish caught on d&m hair jigs crawfish color. 12" deep fish have not spawned yet

Backwater Pete. No it's not part of the basin it's just west of the levee. And yes there are times everyone struggles. Guess I been having luck with catching them this year. Just waiting on Henderson to get wright.

I fish Dautrieve lake and bayou Amy on south end, it's sure not a walk in the park, it's by far not the basin and takes years to figure them out in that place. Some of the best looking areas will never hold fish. I used to live in Loreauville for about 10 years, I fished it for a couple years before really getting a mess of fish together. Another thing is you'll catch quality fish but never really quantity, 15 - 25 fish is normally really good day...
