    Default LARTO RAIN

    Good morning,
just wondering if anyone out there is on crappie.com and knows how much rain LARTO has received. Down in south la. It has been as bad as projected thus far but it has set in NoW. Friends near RUSTON have received 24" . Poor folks. Hoping LARTO isn't effected that badly . Planning on returning in a couple days and just would like to know amount of rain . Thanks in advance! 😊😊😊🎣🎣🎣

Only about 2 inches so far, but getting pounded right now. I don't think the rain over Larto is going to be as big of problem as the back water flooding. The black river has risen over 5 feet since yesterday morning and is expected to rise at least to 42. If I'm not mistaken, it has already started backing up into saline/larto. Water had just gotten back to normal, but here we go again.

It looks like the black river will back fill Larto again

    Hey fellows
i was just called and told they expect water level at LARTO to be higher than it was last month. I have no idea if this is an accurate statement. Just passing it along. Also said water rising very fast. Two feet n 24 hours.

Yep here we go again, ding ding round 2. To me it looks like it will be about the same as Jan/Feb. The predictions on the Black are right at the same as before.

Honeyjam3 here are 2 sites that will help you out on keeping track of the water for the Red, Black, and Larto.

Thank you so much for the sites . I'll use them often. Certainly wish the rising water wasn't so but I'm dry and healthy so I can manage the water. We are headed to LARTO in the morning and see what is going on. Thank you again. I appreciate your assistance

You're welcome. My wife, daughter, and her boyfriend are headed that way in the morning also. Thank God for family and friends.
