    Can anyone of you fine gentlemen give me any info on caney. Taking my bride next weekend for a lil R&R. And would love to catch a few sac's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Fished Caney this weekend. Slow bite for me. Have been catching at dam 40 ft deep. Some may be heading for shallows just wasn't there yet. Back end of Smith Fork(Straight across lake from state park) is good for spawn when water gets right.

    that last cold front affected the bite...it will get better after this and maybe during this week.....
