I went bass fishing yesterday spur of the moment. After burning an hour of fantastic presentations with no bites, I started throwing a beetle spin by trees. Didn't take long to catch a perch. I then switched to a cork rig with Garland plastics and got a consistent bite for a bit. They were only on a few trees, so this must be the very beginning of the deal. I didn't figure this out until about 4 p.m., so I had little time to move around. By far the earliest I've ever encountered this pattern.
