Jigging poles

Does anyone know if Mr. Salters jigging pole are still being sold? and where?

I tried the 225 627 5151 phone number and it's been disconnected.

I have not heard or been by lately......I thought his son was going to take it over.....that phone number could have been JB's personal cell phone and they just shut it down....

Well I'm not giving up yet. A trip to Erwinville maybe in order. Does anybody pass threw there and could check for me?

I may have to resort to the slater jig pole and modify it. Cut some of the foam off the handle a little lead for balance and another eye or two closer to the handle.

I passed last Sunday, everything looks like it did prior. Even told da wife ought stop and try to get one of those poles. Same car parked their same place. Never see anyone.

JR.....I recently bought a B & M 10 ft from Academy for around $50 which I consider to be very close to the Salter pole but with much better eyes....I really like it a lot.....it has a stiff butt section like the Salters......and a lot less money than Salters.....
