It was a very foggy start for the day. Lake is high, up to the top of ramp. Much more rain will put water in the parking area. Water was very muddy with a lot of current moving lots of salvinia down the lake. By the time my 1/16 ounce jig reached its depth with 11 feet of line out, it was hanging at about a 40% angle. I did manage to catch 4 crappie for Diane's supper and 7 yearling bass for mine. She is frying them up as I speak. I normally don't keep bass, but Diane told me, "Don't come home without fresh fish for supper." LOL. So, I kept them today. I like to sleep in my own bed. LOL. All of the bass were caught on my version of the Gray Ghost. All crappie were caught on my Dodson Special. All fish were caught in 11-12 feet of water right off the bottom. Most of my fish were caught in a stand of timber just out of the current. Merry Christmas everyone.
