Speckled trout. Dec 11 and dec 15

Different species but bite was great. Fished lake Boudreaux with a friend Friday morning. One we found them caught 50 in a hurry (box shot)

Fished decade with my nephews (3 of them) Caught. 88 trout with quite a few in the 20 inch range. Rest 14-18 inch. Wind got bad so we didn't make it too 100 bug all was great. Great day on the water with my nephews on break from college (driveway pic)

I fish that same area. taking my 85 year old grandpa out from Oregon next week (he's here for Christmas) we usually stay at sportsman. Where did you find them in Boudreaux, in the canals or what depth in the lake? were you using live bait or plastics under cork or on the bottom? thanks for the info.

headed that way thur. Were fish in canals or open water. Any Birds flying and feeding?

smallaxe---we were fishing some of the pipeline canals on the north and east of the lake---artificial without a cork--dont think i even onn a cork for trout fishing not my thing. pm me and i can shed some more details where you can hopefully put your grandpa on some fish

footballcoach--not sure if you were refering to boudreaux or decade decade was in the lake itself boudreaux was in the canals which was suprising being how hot its been and water been high. as for birdsdidnt see any
nor would i care if i did not a bird fisherman another one of those not my things unless i am forced to by the fish
