    Default Bayou Sorrel or Pigeon water levels?


    Any idea or is there a website I can check? MY wife and I want to go fishing tomorrow but I'm not sure if theres any place that isnt high around the Baton Rouge area.

    High is not necessarily a bad thing......I will fish Henderson at any water stage.....sometimes the best trips are when it is high.....

    I don't keep up with the sorrel & pigeon areas....

    I check the level on the Atchafalaya Butte Larose level. It is on a rise, but still should be very fishable in Sorrel or Pigeon. Good luck. I may be out there a little later tomorrow my self.

    Well...Went there yesterday. The water was about 3 foot high. VERY VERY muddy. I did manage to find some clearer water but didn't find much fish.

    I caught last week. You need to take notes . I quit years ago.
