Darbonne bayou 9/3

Back to the bayou for another session of thump-erapy and field testing for 40watt and I.

Man was it hot out there today, we were just thankful for what ever breeze did kick up.

Not near as many boats out today as I have been seeing.

The bite was slow but steady all morning. Ended the day with 27 for the grease. Caught our fish 3ft deep on flats and stumps on edge of channel 4 to 6ft water. Today it seemed the fish were tighter on the the stumps with the lack of cloud cover.

Wish I could go back tomorrow but I've just got too much other stuff to do. I hope they're on same pattern next weekend cause I'll be back. 🐡🐡🐡🐡 😁

Supposed to be 1/16 minnow heads on #4. To me the heads look and feel heavier than that, they're way bigger than some 1/16 ball heads I ordered.
