Working my tail off with the combination of 1 weekday off (it rained all day) in the last 3 weeks has kept me off the water for the most part. We have been getting things ready for deer season too so free time has been hard to come by. Finally got away yesterday and hit the water with my dad. It had been over a month since we last went so it took a while to find em but we finally did. Ended up keeping 21 NICE sac a lait and threw back dozens. It seemed like we threw back 3-4 fish for every keeper so I would say we caught over 60 fish. Tons of small ones but that is very encouraging for the years to come. Nice to know the CORPS didn't destroy this years hatch with all of the crazy water fluctuation. All fish were caught on the North side on Shad colored hair jigs and pumpkin / chart plastic...tight lines fellas !!! Good to be back on here !

Man those are some nice size fish! I know the feeling of only getting a day off from work. Doesn't give much time to enjoy the great things in life. Glad you got to catch on your day off!![]()
You definitely have not forgotten how to catch'em........congrats...
