Thread: Old River

Fished from 6:30 - 12:00, caught 5 or 6 sacalait,only 2 keepers(one weighed 1.52)....had around 10 boats in Bundy slough at daybreak:-( Tried willow point & alligator point, no action....caught both keepers on houseboats....Good to be out on the ol' river....I would like to see the water drop another 3-4 feet and be out of the woods.

Got to Old River Landing at 5:45am today and from top of levee it looked like the 'bassmasters tournament'. Line of rigs waiting to launch was back up to the levee,parking lot was full and were beginning to park up against the levee. So decided to turnaround and head to another lake. Gonna go back on a week day and hopefully there will be some fish left.
