Lanched at Phills 5:15 am run to Young bloods and started fishing and fished 10 foot deep in 16 FOW did not catch a fish did this for about 1 hour then moved to the mouth of the lake and was fishing about 6 feet deep in 10 FOW and started getting a few fish stayed till 11:30 am and left with 18 fish some was nice size most was small to med. fish.. went back to Phills and found a wildlife agent sitting there he asked if he could weigh and log the fish for a study that was being done on the lake so I let him do that and he was telling me the water is going down and it is still 4.5 foot above normal stage.. the water was not clear but it also was not to muddy only lightly stained one of the fish was 1.3 lb that was the biggest one .. all fish on shiners

Nice catch, there is hope! Last time we fished we kept 8 about the size of the ones by the catfish to eat that night. I sure hope all the high water does some good for the fish. I hope to be on the lake for the 1st or 2nd, then sit back and cook until the 5th.
