Nice mess of crappie
No... that's a egg sinker that I put bailing wire thru and made eyes on each end

The weight on right is a Scott V set up very nice and I recommend them
The one on left was homemade before I got Scott's weights
I put the rod in holder with weight at the surface, I have a mark on rod 2 ft in front of reel let line in or out 2 ft at a time til they start catching. Usually I start at about 14 feet of line out
Did I meet you at the boat ramp Sunday ?
That's a nice mess! Kinda makes me question my methods, though. I was pushing cranks on Black Bayou in Benton from 06:00 to 08:30 on Monday morning and caught nothing...not a bite. I was fishing about five feet deep in 11 to 19 fow.
That's a fine looking catch.. Great pictures
No sir wish you would have. So I could pick your brain some more.
I was the guy that cut you off the other weekend, (small alum. camo boat) when you was trolling out of that pocket by waggoners. It was still first light & you was close to those docks, I didn't see you or I would have motored further, my apologies.
I tend to do ok but you got me wanting to go buy some weights & crank baits
Yep, I think I will.
Thanks for the info.
