Tuff funky River

Had two appointments this am. that I just had to make.

Back at work. To young to retire says the feds. Working 4 tens so Friday is suppose to be my fish catching day.

That's ok I'll make a afternoon trip. Got to the river about 3pm. Nice breeze, wind out of the south east which keeps the water up. Drinking plenty of water. I freeze my water bottles.:big grin Got a new hat (PPG)to keep that sun off my ears.

started working boat docks and catching all the small sacs you want to catch. Black/green/chart use tube jig 1/16 oz minnow head with no paint.

Punched some grass mates and caught small green trout. Nothing swimming lay-downs with the 3tail.

Ended the day keeping about a dozen, 3 big fish and a nice blue cat.

JR with the sun and heat we've had lately you probably could have used a sombrero, half hat and half umbrella. Congrats on the catch.

Glad you are employed again. The sac-a-lait population can't hold up if you fish every day.
