Fished the lake twice last week fishing shallow patterns and no luck. Talked to a few fellas and seems like the shiners did the trick. I fish 100% artificial so there is no hope for me there. Has anyone done good on artificial lately??? Just curious because I have heard numerous reports involving shiners. I am still mad at them so I guess I'll go enjoy another day off of work at least !!! I'll let you fellas know what happens

Yes I catch with no Shinners. The tournament all we can use is artificial bait. Plastic and hair jigs is all I use

shiners were here long before plastics were invented......I use both.....go to jigs when I run out of shiners......never have run out of jigs.....

I think yall misunderstood... what I meant was it seems like they are more on a live bait bite recently more than artificial. That's why I was asking if anyone has heard of any good catches being caught on artificial...

Let you k ow what we do Wednesday for the Sacalait tournament.
