Super fun to catch, no matter what kind of die-hard fisherman you are. Good reds.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

Great showing SS. Those are fun to catch but I just release them. I don't care to eat them so I suppose that's why I don't fish for the more than I do. Someone told me that the reds are so thick out there that they are almost a nuisance especially if you're after specs.

Nice mess of fish there! If you don't mind me asking where do you catch them? I don't need specifics just which lake please. Thanks

Chauvin-lake Boudreaux area south of Houma I love summer redfishing in shallow water. As much as I love sacalait fishing love chasing tailing and schooling reds in a foot a water. Although these were all caught on spoons bad crankbaits since I had people with me also. Fly fish for them when I'm alone

And gene. Although sacalait is king for frying. Can't beat and 18-23 inch red grilled. As for the bigger ones I normally release them except when fishing with people who want them or days like yesterday when my nephew wants to keep them
