Glad you enjoyed your day. Plus you got 6 fish. That would be more than enough for me and my wife. Congratulations!

Covered every depth from 1' to 20' every color, type, with and without shiners. Trees, submerged brush, flats. Not a bite for hours. Till finally one spot gave up 6 one- pound crappie in 15 minutes time. I thought it was go-time. Then not another bite for the rest of the day. Bass were busting on top quite a bit but I resisted temptation to hold out for that cooler full. Didn't happen. But it was a beautiful day on a beautiful lake and don't regret a second of it. Try again next weekend!

The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
Check his Facebook Page (Joshua Maxwell) also, he started a new Blog, the crappie life. I think you will enjoy his Blog. It will be about Lakes in your area.
Six is a nice mess at my house. Max I checked out the Juicy's blog and that's nice. I hope he keeps it up. I love that picture of the cypress trees.
"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
Good catch. Way to stick it out.
Maxwell328 I checked it out when he first started and havent thought to go back...I will go see whats new! Ive heard this time of year they do better farther south...time to scout out new territory. Usually I stay between The Port and Crows Foot. Rarely have no reason to venture farther than that..
edit:
Maxwell328...Just checked out his blog, thats pretty neat...is that you with the hat holding the crappie? Thats an awesome picture!
