I think the next trip that way I'm going to put in at the park and watch some other boats for safe passageways. I had bought a map from Cajun gun and tackle but even the owner told me he didn't feel safe telling me where I could pass and where not without being in the boat with me.
My wife is getting better with her camera, I'm just glad she got a hobby where we can enjoy the outdoors together. Once I figure out depths of places i think we'll have a better time. I was sweating bullets once i saw how shallow it was around us.
She has Lake Martin high on the list to go next, been there in the yak but not a powerboat. I'm just happy I'm not having to paddle her around in the yak.
