    Default Sneakypete's Patassa Fly

    Hey PPG!
Okay - Size 8 hook, black micro ice chenille body. 12 peacock herl tips with butt ends trimmed to make fly around 1 1/4 inches long, black size 3/0 thread, and 3mm black cat-eye beads for eyes (Mount the eyes on a piece of 50-pound mono to make them "dumbbells".) Dark purple chenille and herls is a good combo too.

Ingenious pattern Pete and looks to be very effective. Thanks for posting. I might have to give that a try. I got some peacock herl from Dwyane when Linda and I went over to his house for a crab boil and fish fry a couple of year back.
