Size: 60.7 KBFeels good to be back.Made my first trip out for the NEW YEAR on Sunday.Fishing time set back due to fog and trouble locating fish.Spent most of day where really caught last year at this time.Fish not quite ready to spawn but won't be long.Found these on way back to landing in area with one large cypress tree all by its lonesome in about 2 ft of water. Can't wait to go back out later this week.

Nice catch. I been wanting to go fish the Mermentau. Were you north by Jennings or south by Lake Arthur?

I usually launch at hwy 14 and fish the south end of the river. I haven't fished there yet this year. Glad to see you are catching. That second from left was a good one.
