Going up to Caddo or LOP Tomorrow

At the family Thanksgiving Meal my wife's sisters kept coming up to me and asking me to take a Nephew hunting or fishing as his dad is constantly working so the kid is not exposed to stuff like that. I am really looking forward to it as my son has married and has his own chickens to kill.
I was thinking of taking the young man up to Caddo up around Crips or Uncertain for Crappie. Then I also thought of taking him to Lake O Pines. I have Jigs, should I also get shiners? Which Lake would you choose tomorrow? Thanks, John

John, I don't know where they're biting now, as I'm too busy with kid activities to go. Hope you found a good place and got the young man on some fish!

Well, We went over to LOP and joined the Armada. I saw plenty of bait fish with the crappie nearby, but they were just not buying what I was selling! We were using Shiners and caught 4 real nice ones and lost a couple of more. I might go over to Lake Tawakoni next weekend for cat and stripers if my Uncle can get loose. Good Luck all! John
