Default Finally got on em' in Henderson!

I worked real hard in Henderson this weekend to find the fish. Heard they were catching in Fordoche so I headed there Saturday morning. Low and behold they were plucking them out of the lillies but I didn't have the right pole to do that. So I ran to Academy and picked one up as soon as I hit the dock that afternoon. Went back Sunday and only got a couple. But Sunday I had Swamppers with me so my luck changed. We ended up on some fish and plucked em' out the water for a couple hours. Ended up being a pretty productive day. Maybe now the curse has been lifted from my boat!!

Chuck having Swamppers in the boat just gave you confidence. Now you can go forth on your own and get 'um. What is the right pole you bought. I bet it was a jig pole of 10 to 12 foot long. Those can work magic at times.

I have an 8 ft jig pole that's I usually use to fish a cork, tried tight lining for my first time ever Sunday and noticed it's not enough pole what did you go with?

I went with a 12' pole with the Mr. Crappie reel, works great in the grass.
