    Default Black Lake 10/30/14

Man what a nice day to be fishing! I was so happy to be able to take my Wife and daughter along with me, sometimes schedules dont work out that well. We mangaed to catch about 12 perch and we kept 6 good ones. I enjoyed it so, until I got the dredded call to come into work, talk about spoil a great day. We did catch a few slabs though and enjoy some family time on the water. Caught on Blue thunder pink tail and Wife and Daughter caught on minnow, fishing trees 4-6 deep on channel edge.

Good looking fish there TreeFrog. I think I recognize that bridge in those shots. You didn't catch any to enter into the small fish tourney did you. Been catch some really small ones there along with the big one. If I am there I'll be in a GII with 40 yama with a crappie com sticker on both side of the boat.
Be as smart as you can, but it is always better to be wise than to be smart.

Same story here, small ones mixed in as well. I may have had one that would have qualified...lol Ill make sure to look for your boat next trip!

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
