    Default Back home.

As I promised myself when I left D'Arbonne, at first chance I'd be fishing in my waters. Well today was the first chance. My son Jon and I teamed up to put 17 slabs, 1 chink, and 1 bass in the boat. I knew I could catch more fish than the one I caught at D'Arbonne. One fish or no fish we still had a blast. Sorry no pics, it was getting late and Jon took them to his house.

Glad ya'll got home safe and are now back on familiar waters. Congratulations on the catch, Pawpaw Gene. It was my pleasure to finally meet you after reading your posts for several years. Now that you are home, I have one thing to tell you; "whack em and stack em." LOL.

    Bruce, time to roll.

Thanks Paster, I don't know if we will whack and stack but we will give them a run for their money.

Danny I looking forward to November. I would love to get with you and Tal but depending on the timing I might not be available. I'm having cataract surgery on the 10th for the first one and 2 to 3 weeks later on the second. There might be a window for me between the two. I hope so anyway. We need a couple more cold fronts to come through first.

Nothing like fishing your "Home Waters" even if you don't fill the igloo cooler.

Skip, you need to slow down on the tying for folks. I am sure they/we won't mind waiting a few days longer for you to take a scheduled day off or two on a regular basis. It's not worth it my friend.

Nice catch Gene, thanks for posting.
